Non-player Characters
Nerium Wolfsbane: Your employer, a charismatic gunslinger that’s been a part of the collective for quite some time now. An approximately middle-aged half-elven woman (appears late 50s ish, about 5’10”), that seems to be all limbs and grandiose vestments with her wiry and lanky figure that is adorned in well loved leathers, silks and furs. Her black leather duster despite its larger size fits her well with the confidence and swagger she exudes. Her shortly cropped head of deep copper colored hair with streaks of silver that frame her sharp edged features worn by age stick out from underneath the wide brim of her cowboy hat, her skin a rich bronze kissed by the sun with a notable dapple of freckles across the bridge of her nose and cheeks. There’s a small scar at the right corner of her mouth at the edge that seems to widen her smile.
Rehema Kyvernítis: One of the field researchers, a foreign born sorceress you’ve yet to learn much about aside her name (and that she’s aligned with the collectives goals of research and protection). A near statuesque young elven woman with her tall stature (6ft+) and curved features. She appears to be in what you assume is her early-mid 20s, though it’s never quite easy to tell the exact age of an elf. Her dark brown skin is adorned with intricate tattoos and golden piercings with a large amount of long dark coiled curls surrounding her face. Her eyes a striking orange hue similar to that of a sunrise. Her clothing while finer in appearance, still seems to have an edge of practically to it that she takes well care of.
Dakz: Another field researcher at the collective. A small and timid kobold man trained as a wizard. Twin brother to Zyppz, one of the collectives blacksmiths. He wears an oversized deep blue robe that seems an engulf his small frame, it’s patched together with mismatched padded fabric and has stars and golden tassels he embroidered and fastened on the robe himself. Encircling his neck is a large olive green scarf with purple striping on the edges. And he wears big round brass framed glasses that sit upon the bridge of his snout.
Zyppz: One of the blacksmiths at the collective. She is the younger twin sister to Dakz, though she will claim otherwise and has a penchant for dramatic pathological fibbing. She wears grungy blacksmith overalls that have seen better days and giant gloves that seem to engulf her arms and hands. Tied around her neck is a dark blue handkerchief that seems to be made of the same cloth as her brother Dakz robe, it too has hand embroidered golden stars upon it. Her left horn appears to be missing or broken and she is perpetually covered in soot from head to toe, the only clean item is her handkerchief around her neck. She bribed Casavis with 1 GP to bring her back three casks of Golden Oak Mead from the Amber Sap Brewery in Oakhaven.
Uthgar Thistlebranch: Another blacksmith in the collective that works alongside Zyppz. They seem to have a friendly bickering work relationship (even if more one sided on Zyppz side). A burly firbolg man in his middle aged years, that towers over you all at a height of nearly 7ft. He seems to not quite know the extent of his full strength, but there’s a gentle aura about him. His fur is a light desaturated minty blue, and his hair and beard a darker shade of blue. He wears a similar set of work clothing to Zyppz while in the workshop, though his are more well maintained.
Salamander Twiggs aka “Old Man Sal”: You were hired to secure his farm Melody Acres and ensure his safety/check in on his condition. An elder gnomish man that almost resembles a billy goat with his long wispy beard and white hair that sticks outwards at the sides, the top of his head is balding slightly. His skin is tanned from many days in the sun tending to his fields, many around town have noted that he was once a traveling and famous bard in his youth. Thus leading some to not always believe the stories he tells as anything more than embellished entertainment. He wears modest farming clothes and always carries around his old lute, especially now after his encounter with the “tooth” growing on his farm.
Belladona Wolfsbane: Niece to Nerium, she has offered you all a place to stay in her home that she shares with her brother Hemlock and their great-grandfather. She runs her families apothecary, Wolfsbane Remedies. A young half-elven woman that appears to be in her late 20s and bears a resemblance to her aunt, though with younger slightly rounder facial features. She has curly black hair that reaches past her shoulder blades and tan skin and wears a pretty but modest sundress. Extremely friendly and often comes off as flirtatious in her interactions even if not quite intentional. But she IS single.
Hemlock Wolfsbane: Nephew to Nerium and brother to Belladonna. He used to work on the local farms before joining the war as a soldier, now as a disabled veteran he works behind the counter at Brom’s General Goods store. Similar to his relatives, he has naturally tan skin and appears to be a half-elf as well in his very early 30s. He has shaggy black hair that hangs above his shoulders and is well kept and a clean shaven face. Has a tendency to mumble and ramble in a way that’s somewhat incoherent to anyone who’s not local to the area. He’s a wheelchair user with two simple prosthetic wooden legs.
